#1 Don’t even consider skimping on: Braces
Don’t make the terrible mistake of skimping on dental appliances. Not only will the person who has to wear them have to keep them on for a few years, but you will not get away without paying thousands of dollars over the course of those years either way.
If they’re not of good quality due to how cheap they are, you may end up wearing them for almost nothing all those years. And before you commit to anything, you have the right to inspect everything that goes into it.
Talk to your insurance company; they may tell you how much they can cover (which could be a small amount or a significant amount), and also see more orthodontists. You both need more opinions, and you also need to see which prices seem to be too high and which prices are too low. However, never cut corners here!
Whoever has to get them will live with the result for a really long time!
