Oats
There’s genuinely nothing better than oats in the morning. Every single nutritionist on this planet would recommend it; it helps your digestion throughout the day, and it’s also the cheapest breakfast product in town, so to speak!
There are so many options out there, you’ll feel like eating oats three times a day (although we really don’t recommend it). First, there’s porridge, then cold bircher muesli, toasted muesli, and even soaked oats. There are a ton of combinations and flavors, but my favorite one is definitely cocoa.
Rice
Rice is a must-have in any pantry around the world. It’s one of the cheapest pantry staples out there, super easy to cook, and easily bulks up any kind of meal. Besides eating it as a side, you can actually use rice to make the dreamiest main dishes, from risotto, paella, sushi, fried rice, rice pudding, and, of course, burritos!
It’s also perfectly safe to use other types of rice than what’s specified in a recipe. For instance, if you have a pack of grain rice but want to cook something specific, you can easily do so! Whether it’s risotto or sushi, you shouldn’t worry; it will taste just as good!
