Asian Salad
You probably don’t remember the Asian Salad from Chick-Fil-A, so let me refresh your memories. The salad had oranges, red cabbage, almonds, wonton crisps, and chicken nuggets over a generous bed of lettuce.
It also had honey sesame dressing on top, which was beautifully blended with the salad, making the whole experience feel like a brief escape to another culture. The salad was added to the menu in 2013 and was also introduced simultaneously with the Cobb Salad and Grilled Market Salad.
Carrot and Raisin Salad
I know that carrots and raisins aren’t exactly the tastiest combinations, but believe it or not, the salad managed to remain on the menu for almost 40 years. As a matter of fact, the salad was brought by Truett Cathy, the founder of the fast food chain.
I know the name doesn’t specify, but the salad also had a key ingredient that helped give it a slightly sweet and interesting taste: crushed pineapple, sugar, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.
Coleslaw
If you love getting coleslaw salad with your favorite Chick-Fil-A sandwich (it could also be a topping), you might have to get it somewhere else because you won’t find it there. Once upon a time, so to speak, yes, coleslaw salad used to come as a side dish on the menu, but it was removed back in 2016.
We couldn’t specify the exact reason why they decided to eliminate this product from the menu, especially given that it had been there for more than 50 years. You can get other side dishes if their sandwich isn’t enough.
Of course, the most beloved one is waffle potato fries, but you can easily add a fruit cup, a side salad, and even the mac and cheese option. Luckily, Chick-Fil-A made sure that you wouldn’t miss anything.
Sunflower Multigrain Bagel
The sunflower multigrain bagel from Chick-Fil-A was another great breakfast item that didn’t make the cut. It was rapidly removed from the menu in 2021, which left many fans extremely disappointed.
Before the bagel was discontinued, customers could either get it plain, with cream cheese, or even as a breakfast sandwich with egg, American cheese, and chicken. Unfortunately, there aren’t any other bagel options on their menu, but there are other bread and grain options that you might want to consider!
