Make sure you stay flexible with your travel dates so you can get the best deal for your flights and look for the best-rated accommodation that doesn’t exceed your budget: going for the first one you see or the one someone else you travel with wants will just be an added expense you could have prevented.
#4 Getting all the newest versions of everything!
Do you love gadgets? It may be the case that either you or your loved one is passionate about new technologies, which can turn into more expenses for you. After all, unless you’re in a program that replaces your older iPhone with the latest one, you will have to pay a pretty penny in order to get the newest technologies. And when you look at the rate at which companies release things nowadays it can turn into a lot of extra big purchases.
You should try to cut down on such impulse buys, despite how much you may like technology. It’s not always the case that something new is better, and you may end up trading away a very good gadget for one that’s not even much different to begin with,
The same goes for if you’re in the market looking for a new home. You may be a bit skeptical about getting an older home, but it has been proven that most of the time, a “vintage” home is more resistant than a newer one. So before you throw yourself into paying for the newest things, balance out the pros and cons, so you don’t end up spending way more than needed!
