3. Fill up on the cheapest days of the week
This shouldn’t be a surprise because when it comes to fuel prices, Monday is known as the best day when you can fill up and pay less money for it, especially between 7 and 10 a.m. I know waking up early might be a pain in the neck, but sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do!
Make sure you set the alarm earlier if the nearest gas station is half an hour’s distance from your home because you never know how busy the roads can get, and you might not be able to get there on time!
4. Join a fuel rewards program
Many major grocery store chains partner with gas stations to offer members a considerable discount at the pump. How is this thing working? Well, you do your usual shopping in the store, and for the amount of cash you spend here, you can get a 25- to 99-cent discount per gallon. Check with your local supermarket to see with which gas stations it has a partnership. A lot of them pair up with Exxon, Mobil, and Chevron.
Because you already need to buy food every week, why not take advantage of these fantastic discounts and save money on gas?
