WEDNESDAY

  • jewelry – this doesn’t make such a big difference, only a few dollars, to be more exact, but according to some research, jewelry prices tend to be lower on a Wednesday, compared to other days of the week.
  • grocery shopping – if you missed your food shopping spree on Sunday, you have another chance on Wednesday. You might be lucky and find new discounts, or you might even be offered some coupons that will save you a few extra bucks.

THURSDAY

  • handbags – if you’ve had an eye on a bag for quite a while, but you didn’t have the courage to splurge on it, a Thursday might be a good day to do it. Some sources even say that the discounts can be up to 36% versus other days, so you’ll save up for another shopping spree.
  • clothes – many stores have discounts starting on Thursday, as a way to get more customers during the week, so if you need anything, that’s the best day to go shopping for clothes.

FRIDAY

  • gas – if you didn’t get the chance to fill up your tank on Sunday, Friday is another good day to do it, so you can save a bit of cash for the next time.

SATURDAY

  • outerwear –  according to a study from ShopItToMe.com, outerwear clothes are a lot cheaper on a Saturday compared to the rest of the week. If you are lucky, for instance, you might get a discount of up to 51%.
  • Items at department stores – the majority of people are free during the weekend, so they have a lot of time to go shopping, but also do some other things they want, such as going on a trip or going out with their friends. Retailers know these things and they try to come up with several discounts so that potential customers can use their free time to go shopping.
