3. Everything is returnable
One of the most common myths about Costco is that you can return anything no matter how old the products are. Well…things aren’t really like that! While over the years there were a lot of people who came back to return a lot of weird stuff, Costco has some “strict” rules about this. For example, electronics that are eligible for return are received by the store within 90 days from the day you bought them. Alcohol and cigarettes are two things, however, that cannot be returned no matter what.
4. It’s the cashier’s job to take your products out of the cart
The Costco checkout process can be rather intimidating if you have more than two large items in your cart, and many people still hold to the misconception that you shouldn’t remove anything from your cart for the cashier. You should put all the items you purchased on the belt as you would at any other grocery store in order to be a considerate customer. Leave the items in the cart with the barcode up if they are particularly heavy so that they can be scanned more easily.
