However, what does it really do? Well, it seems that it speeds up the rate at which our skin cells turnover, which helps improve firmness. “By promoting cell turnover, it highly improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and an uneven skin tone,” she explained.
Given that retinol is so hot right now, we all expect to see beauty brands raising their prices. And while it’s true that some beauty products that cost a ton of money are worth every penny, when it comes to retinol, stronger isn’t always better.
