Hair products
Just like with makeup or any other beauty products, you always run the risk of hair care products being opened and meddled with by other consumers. Also, some products can cost just as much, sometimes even more, than they do online.
So you may end up spending more and going home with a “used” product. We suggest sticking to your tried and true products or testing out new items with samples or travel sizes from Sephora. This way, you can save money without making a Marshalls shopping mistake.
Candles
If we’re being honest, candles are a dull idea in general when it comes to buying gifts, and we’d put them on our list of things to avoid buying at Marshalls. But if you really want to go that route, we recommend choosing an aspirational, high-end option.
Side Note: This doesn’t mean you have to stop digging through the candle aisle for your own discounted Yankee candles anytime soon!
