Due to some unspoken traditions, there are a lot of new versions of appliances and various gadgets that are released in the second part of the year, mainly in the fall months. So for certain things, you can be sure that they’re going to have a new version as early as September or even in December.
This is why you should keep an eye out for the month of August. A lot of stores end up trying to clear their inventories for the new stock of new products, so they may have a lot of discounts. Not to mention that, due to Back to College sales, you can end up getting a pretty good discount on toasters, microwaves, and coffee makers.

We can’t forget Black Friday, no matter how much we would like to do so. And while we aren’t going to go and battle in the store for the best deal, there is still a chance you can get a great price for a more expensive appliance online. And even in before Black Friday, it happens that stores start giving out discounts in advance.
If that one-day-a-month discount isn’t your cup of tea, you can always keep an eye out for Cyber Monday, when you will be able to find some great deals online only. Not to mention, brands will still be releasing new models of appliances, trying to do so ahead of the winter holidays, so there’s a high chance you will find some of the pricier items with a significant markdown when it comes to price.
