#5 Do not throw out towels

As you keep washing your towels, they lose some of their plushness and can even end up feeling scratchy. Some people may not cry, but they may cry now and then. Of course, this is not the case for all towels, but when that happens, it doesn’t mean they end up being useless. You can easily reuse them to clean around the house, as dish towels, or to polish your car or silverware!

They are just another cleaning rag waiting to happen, so don’t be that person who throws them away. You never know when some pipes might burst, and you wish you had all the towels you could want on hand.

#6 Reusable take-out containers

Some take-out places still don’t have carton containers. However, it is likely that they have moved away from styrofoam and are now using stronger, reusable plastic containers. Don’t throw them in the recycling bin that fast. You can reuse them along with your other reusable food containers and jars. They are great for when you have to send someone away with some food after a party. No need to worry about them forgetting to bring back your containers!

  1. Already do all of these except : I give all my used old towels to my local Veterinarian. They are always in need of soft things to line cages and clean up messes. Call you local Vet and ask if they need them as donations.
