6. Hot Dogs

The famous Kirkland Signature hot dogs are also available for home consumption. Costco’s 3 24-ounce packages of beef hot dogs are on sale for $14.99, or $3.33 a pound, so it’s never too late to eat a tasty hot dog with your friends and family.

In case you prefer a name-brand hot dog, Costco had a 2-pack of 28-ounce Nathan’s all-beef skinless franks for $13.59, or $3.88 a pound. You can eat them plain with a side of brown rice and some steamy or grilled vegetables, or you can go full American style and put a hot dog in a bun, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy your tasty meal!

  1. The only item on this list worth the trip is the Rotisserie Chicken. Kirkland paper towels and the stuffed peppers are also worth the trip. Costco in our area doesn’t have gasoline so we can’t compare the price. Stay away from the hot dogs; TERRIBLE taste.

    1. I don’t know what you think hot dogs a re supposed to taste like, b
ut these are ALL BEEF hot dogs, not chicken and pork scraps and whatever shoveled off the floor to make them. They are 1/4 pound hot dogs too, and I think they are excellent!

  2. Julia Parlagreco

Publix often has bacon buy one get one free one. Even at 7.50 package that’s cheaper than Costco.

  3. I used to go to Costco all the time, but I moved to a new area, and the nearest Costco is 60 miles away. Any savings I would get is used up in gas. We do have a Sam’s Club, but it’s not as good as Costco.

  4. One thing I can rave about is the homemade shrimp salad in the back where the prepared foods are. That with the croissants are to die for!! when I go to Costco, which is about once a month, I get a big shrimp salad and a package of the croissants which there are 12 in a package and I bring it back and share it with my next-door neighbor and we both have a feast for two days with more to spare. I have an investigated anything about it so I don’t want to hear any bad news, but I can tell you it taste amazing.
