At first, we were not really sure if the spices from Lidl could compete with the familiar name brands, but the prices convinced us to try them.
After the test, we can say that these spices are what you need if you cook a lot and you also want to save some money.Â
The spice aisle is pretty basic, but you can find anything you need: garlic powder, oregano, basil, turmeric, ginger, you name it. So, if you are a single adult or you and your family don’t want to spend a fortune on spices, Lidl is your best choice.
Yet, even if you will not find such a wide variety as in other stores, they have organic versions of all the herbs we listed above.Â
Lidl also has some interesting spice mixes that you can check out: BBQ mix, chili con carne mix, salt and pepper mix, ground allspice, or the everything bagel seasoning mix.
