5. There are other stores that don’t require a membership
If you think that you will go to Costco just from time to time, it is better to not invest your money in their membership and just stick to other stores such as Walmart or Target. Here you can find great deals, and you also don’t need to buy in bulk.
Another thing would be that Costco doesn’t have such a large variety of products. They have a few brands, and that’s all. The products are of good quality, but if you are searching for something different, this is not the best place.
On the other hand, the competitor stores have more to offer. You can find a wide variety of products, as well as specialized products if that is what you need.
So, if you don’t plan to regularly shop at Costco and you like to be able to make a choice when buying things, a membership is not the most suitable option for you.
