The best times:

Right after they open

You know what they say: “The early bird gets the worm. Well, getting there right when the doors open might offer you a chance to shop freely. By freely, I mean without all the fuss of dodging a cart, avoiding the crowds, and even getting high-demand items right before they sell out.

Some shoppers would also get the chance to buy fresh produce before anyone else, so if you’re slightly interested in buying fresh vegetables and fruits, then this is what you need to do!

Tuesday-Thursday afternoon

Whether you knew this or not, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are one of the best times to shop for groceries, especially during the weekdays. Timing is of the essence; you need to be there after the lunch rush but right before the after-work crowd.

One hour before closing

It would be highly recommended to check your local Costco hours to know for sure when they close, but generally, it’s after the post-work crowd rush. One hour before closing might be the best time to take a fast lap around the warehouse.

Also, make sure you keep your eyes on the clock! Keep in mind that this time frame would be recommended if you have a short list of things you need and are not someone who enjoys savoring the shopping experience.
