Thought that buying a ‘new’ helmet from eBay or Craigslist is a good idea? Well, think again. It is not safe. Just like mattresses, helmets could harbor too tiny insects. In other words, saving two or three dollars on a second-hand helmet isn’t worth it.
Frankly, you could end up spending more on prescribed shampoo and dermatologist visits. Additionally, who knows if the other person has had a perfectly round head like you? Don’t be a cheapskate, at least not in this case.
