#1 Read up on the return policy before you order
The worst way in which you can lose money is to make a purchase that you then realize is redundant or not suitable for you. Of course, we all rely on the return policy of shops for these cases, but in the online shopping sphere, it’s not as easy as it appears.
There are shops that have very complicated return policies. Some have the weirdest rules, from not letting you return items unless they arrive with manufacturing defects to making you pay for the return or simply not allowing any sort of return at all! Before you commit to purchasing from a site you aren’t familiar with, make sure you’re not going to lose money due to their return policy.
#2 Being fast means you lose on discounts
One of the best marketing strategies that shops use is to promise you extra online discounts, and let’s be honest! They work very well! A lot of us think about how we can buy things online and save some extra bucks with the coupon codes offered by companies. However, this also translated into most people not bothering to look for better deals or other coupons online because it can be overwhelming. And you can never really know if you will find such a deal.
Yet, this doesn’t mean you have to lose on such opportunities! There are browser extensions that will search for coupons for you, and most of them are free, so you don’t have to spend any extra money on them. They will scavenge the internet for you and even try out all the coupons to make sure you get the best price!
