Don’t jump the gun to pay then and there just because it’s convenient. These types of internet connections are public, and using them when you’re handling sensitive information like passwords and card details is not a good idea. You never know who is using the same connection in order to access your information and your bank account or even other accounts that could get compromised!
Don’t fall for the easy way out, as money won’t be the only thing you lose in these scenarios!

Of course, a lot of us like to shop online in order to get a better deal than we would get in-store. After all, there are lots of extra sales, coupons, or offers that you could get online as opposed to what you can get in the store. However, what if we told you that there was a chance you could get some things for free? And effectively not “lose” the money when paying for the item.
Depending on what you’re looking for and how fast you need them, you can take advantage of the fact that there are people who just want to get rid of the things around their house without asking you to pay for them. For example, if you’re looking for a new armchair or any other furniture item or decoration, you can look on places like Facebook Marketplace for deals.
You can even set an alert for a keyword related to what you want to get, and you’ll see all the offers. You will soon start to see them, and there are people who will just give you the item for free as long as you go and pick it up from their place. A bargain, if you ask us!
