#1 Be inventive with your leftovers!
You do not have to dread the leftovers night! After all, it is easier and less wasteful to eat what you already have in the fridge than to keep on making more and more fresh food that no one will eat. Yet we understand that eating the same stew three days in a row is not the most exciting meal. This is why you should get inventive with your leftovers!
You can use the meat from a stew to make a pasta sauce and give it a new spin. Use leftover veggies to make a stir fry, a frittata, or even fried rice! The leftover hard bread can always be turned into croutons for a cream soup! The possibilities are endless; you just have to get a bit creative!
And if everything else fails and you just cannot stand leftovers, make sure you cook smaller portions so you can get through a dish in a maximum of two days! Just make sure you have appropriate storage containers for your food so it doesn’t spoil in the fridge.
