Name brands

Store brands usually tend to offer more in order to get your money, and more than 90% of Aldi’s products are private-label brands. One of the reasons why you will notice cheap prices at Aldi’s is mainly because their groceries are private-label, according to Business Insider.

Even so, if you shop beyond these private-label products, you will end up spending more money than you would have ever planned to. At Aldi, you will mostly find name brands that are not only overpriced, but you can’t use coupons on them in order to save more money, as one blogger from “MoneySavingMom” has stated.

  1. As far as the Aldi tomato soup, that’s got to a matter of taste. I add things to mine to make it a little better, as i have for campbell’s tomato soup in the past. As for me, I will NEVER buy another Campbell soup product again as they state right on the can that they use biogenetic products. No thank you!

  2. I tottally disagree with this information! Most of what they offer is even better quality than many well known brands.

  3. they are totally wrong1 some things may b cheaper at walmart but in more ways than 1……we love all of aldi products

  4. I shop ALDIs quite frequently and I would disagree with this article. There are a few items that I have not used that I can’t speak of, specifically canned sausage and condensed tomato soup. Everything else on this list I have used and will purchase again.

  5. Aldi Shows it’s European ‘socialist’ roots by ‘means testing’.
When I shop at the Aldi’s 15 miles south of my home (in a middle class area) milk is over $4.00 a gallon while it’s $2.77 a gallon at the Aldi’s 15 miles north of me in a poorer area. I notice the same with many products. So I can only assume the middle class is subsidizing the poor as usual.

  6. Seems as though someone has something against Aldi. I find their produce much fresher than the big box stores. The broccoli is fresh and doesn’t smell funny . The strawberries are red with no white tops and full of flavor, and so on. I don’t buy produce from the major market chains unless I have no other option as their pricing is way too high . Aldi is my first stop !

  7. Can I just get an article to read, not have to figure out where the article continues time and time again??? I hate these type of articles. Delete, Delete, Delete – and Unsubscribe, but they seem to always get my info back or never really Unsubscribe me.

  8. This article’s layout is too confusing to follow. You are wasting your potential customers’ time. I shall not click on these types of things again

The only bacon I buy is at ALDIs. It’s the packs that have the bacon that is encrusted with lots of pepper. Very flavorable.
