K-Cup Pods: Green Mountain Coffee Roasters

The popular Keurig cup company known as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters signed a great deal with Costco back in 2012, to produce the Kirkland Signature Brand of K-Cups. It’s available in Pacific Bold, Medium Roast, and Breakfast Blend. These coffee pods are users’ favorite choice, because not only the taste is amazing, but they come at a price that not even Amazon can’t match.

Ground Coffee: Starbucks

If you ever felt that there’s something extremely familiar about Costco’s ground coffee, it’s possibly because IT IS the most familiar coffee in America. Costco’s house coffee is produced by Seattle’s dearest Starbucks. That being said, it shouldn’t come as a surprise, because if you look carefully, you can see the Starbucks logo across the front of the packaging.

  1. Ummm Charlie—Check your source…COSTCO is an American multinational corporation that operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores. Costco is the world’s largest retailer of beef, poultry, organic produce, and wine, with just under a third of American consumers regularly shopping at Costco warehouses. China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO). It’s based in China and it owns 1114 ships and is one of the largest logistics companies in the world. (I would expect that Costco uses Cosco as a shipper of some of its products sourced in Asia. And Costco has stores in China, having first opened a location in Shanghai in 2019 and expanding to other cities such as Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Nanjing, bringing the total number of warehouses on the mainland to seven by August 2024. The stores have been met with massive crowds and popularity since their debut, with January 2024 seeing the opening of the first Costco in Southern China in Shenzhen. So…if you wanna be a “Buy American First” guy…at least get the facts right!
