Jelly Beans: Jelly Belly
There are some brands out there, like Heinz, that simply can’t have any competitors. As Costco knows this, it makes sense that they didn’t hide the Jelly Belly logo from the front of their jelly beans.
Nobody is better than Jelly Belly, and Kirkland Signature knows much better than to trick customers out of the only brand that they really want.
Peanut Butter Pretzels: H.K. Anderson
While the chocolate almonds are the pride and joy of the Costco snack game, peanut butter pretzels are definitely the heart and soul. I still can’t understand how people are able to contain themselves from eating an entire container in one sitting!
These stuffed pretzels are simply…amazing. If you like them too, make sure you double up next time you shop, because they’ll evaporate faster than you think.
Brie: Isigny Ste Mère
Kirkland Signature goes out of its way when it comes to cheese, as they import French brie from Normandy, according to the Costco Connection magazine. It’s made from grass-fed cows, out of 60% butterfat, and this cheese is one of the best stuff you could ever find.

Ummm Charlie—Check your source…COSTCO is an American multinational corporation that operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores. Costco is the world’s largest retailer of beef, poultry, organic produce, and wine, with just under a third of American consumers regularly shopping at Costco warehouses. China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO). It’s based in China and it owns 1114 ships and is one of the largest logistics companies in the world. (I would expect that Costco uses Cosco as a shipper of some of its products sourced in Asia. And Costco has stores in China, having first opened a location in Shanghai in 2019 and expanding to other cities such as Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Nanjing, bringing the total number of warehouses on the mainland to seven by August 2024. The stores have been met with massive crowds and popularity since their debut, with January 2024 seeing the opening of the first Costco in Southern China in Shenzhen. So…if you wanna be a “Buy American First” guy…at least get the facts right!
