Frozen Pizzas: Palermo

Palermo Pizza is definitely a legend in the frozen pizza community, and luckily, it’s the pizza company behind Kirkland Signature’s frozen pizzas. However, you definitely didn’t know that this has caused Costco a bit of trouble in the past. It seems that when Palermo dealt with a massive worker strike, many people wanted to boycott Costco, to make it drop Palermo as a supplier.

Chocolate Almonds: Blommer Chocolate Company

As it sits right there in the snack hall of fame, chocolate almonds are a very underrated Costco purchase. Blommer is a heavyweight in the chocolate world for over 80 years, being also the one that brought these tasty almonds, at least according to what Costco Connection Magazine has shown. Should I even mention that a big jar of chocolate almonds is only $17?

  1. Ummm Charlie—Check your source…COSTCO is an American multinational corporation that operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores. Costco is the world’s largest retailer of beef, poultry, organic produce, and wine, with just under a third of American consumers regularly shopping at Costco warehouses. China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO). It’s based in China and it owns 1114 ships and is one of the largest logistics companies in the world. (I would expect that Costco uses Cosco as a shipper of some of its products sourced in Asia. And Costco has stores in China, having first opened a location in Shanghai in 2019 and expanding to other cities such as Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Nanjing, bringing the total number of warehouses on the mainland to seven by August 2024. The stores have been met with massive crowds and popularity since their debut, with January 2024 seeing the opening of the first Costco in Southern China in Shenzhen. So…if you wanna be a “Buy American First” guy…at least get the facts right!
