Costco Auto is more popular than ever

Buying a new car from Costco might seem like a crazy deal, but the numbers will prove different. In fact, over 2.3 million Costco members decided to buy discounted vehicles through Costco’s program in the past five years. Last year, over 775,000 members decided to buy a car through Costco, according to the company, which is 12% more than the previous year. What’s even better is that leases are also included in the program.

You will find amazing deals

Buyers can find a variety of manufacturer rebates and incentives, which can be found online on Costco’s website. The Costco Auto Program also has various special offers on high-end vehicles. For example, Costco gives members a $1,250 incentive on the purchase or lease of all the new 2022-2023 Volvo vehicles.

The deal can be easily combined with other incentives. Eligible models include Volvo S60, S90, V60 Cross Country, V90 Cross Country, XC40, XC60, but also XC90. The offer is available to Costco members who were already signed up by September 30. Interested members have to register online or by phone if they want to receive a certificate with a promotional code.

You will also find RVs

The Costco Auto Program isn’t only for shoppers who want to buy a shiny new car, truck, or SUV. The program goes much further, as you can also purchase an RV. Previously, it also included motorcycles and small vehicles, like ATVs, golf carts, and even snowmobiles, but these aren’t available anymore through the program.

Used cars are actually a fair game

Costco Auto Program buyers have many other options, besides new vehicles. If you’re interested in purchasing a car there, you will also have access to factory-certified, pre-owned vehicles.

These cars have undergone dealer inspections, but also many reconditioning processes, to make sure they meet all the needed eligibility requirements for mileage and time on the original factory warranty. Pricing is also based on low-to-midrange Kelley Blue Book values, besides a set discount that’s based on the dealer’s lowest advertised price.

You will be able to save on parts and service, too

Even if purchasing a car is the main focus of the Costco Auto Program, the warehouse club also decided to use its clout to add other benefits for its members. For example, there’s a minimum 15% discount on automotive parts, services, and some accessories that you will access by going to certain service centers.

Also, there’s a savings cap of $500 that can be applied on each visit, and there are many other interesting exclusions. Card members might also get $100 off work at a dealership, or even $200, for some executive members.
