3 Online Retailers Even Cheaper Than Amazon

Aliexpress

Since we have talked about a huge online marketplace that is similar to Amazon, we cannot leave aside Aliexpress. They have come to the market even before Temu, and they are known to ship worldwide (unlike Temu), and much like our precious suggestion, they carry all types of items, including electronics and all types of home goods, in addition to clothing items and accessories. Chances are that if you are looking for something, from phone cases to some sort of organizing box, the Chinese retailer will have it.

They are popular all over the world because they offer almost factory prices for all their items, and the shops generally sell the items they are making rather than acting as a middleman for other types of shops. They have a good complaint system, and if you send in pictures of the item you received that is not as advertised, Aliexpress will refund your whole order.

Aliexpress is also a great choice if you want to make some money on the side, as you can bulk buy items or raw materials to make your own products at better prices or even resell some items you know there is a market for people who do not wish to make an account.

  1. Temu has an endless number of products. I can spend hours just looking. Photos are great, but product descriptions can be a little lacking. Be sure to look for measurements, as photos can be misleading. Also, be aware that when you buy that really cool attachment for your sewing machine, all the miscellaneous pieces will come in a tiny plastic bag with no instructions. Unless you’re lucky enough to find the video again, you’re left with trial and error. I returned 2/3 of my first order of about 15 items. ‘Cheap’ clothing is cheaply made, but if you look at it as ‘disposable’ clothing, you can get fun stuff. They do allow one return per order, so check everything out and send back items you don’t want. Refund was prompt and no questions asked, although I think I did have to list each item with the reason I was returning it. And save the packing it came in….. makes return easier.
I still don’t like the idea of dealing with this company… the press is not good, and I’m not that desperate to save a few pennies. BUT if it’s something I really need, and the savings is over 30% on a middle-priced item, I’d still be tempted.
