#3 Avocado slicer
Maybe you have seen those posts about the so-called “avocado hand” injury. But if you haven’t, let us refresh your memory: basically, when cutting the flesh of an avocado, there are people who accidentally slice through their own hands too, not just through the fruit. This caused people to invent a revolutionary product: the avocado slicer.
Let’s be honest for a second: it’s useless. Not only is it extremely uncommon for people to do this, but it is also easy to avoid: if you’re scared you may draw blood, you can just set the avocado in a bowl and cut it there instead of in your hand. Nothing is extremely revolutionary, and you can get rid of this fear of cutting yourself by accident. Just don’t spend your money on such a product.
#4 Useless product? Pizza scissors
Yes, you read that right. And if you’ve never tried it, you should: we know it may seem blasphemous to cut a pizza with scissors, but trust us. It’s so much easier, and you will actually get the crust cut as opposed to using one of those pizza cutters that end up being dull after a few uses (speaking of useless products).
However, spending money on a pair of scissors that you’re going to use just for this one purpose is just silly. Any pair of kitchen scissors will do just fine; you just have to make sure you wash them thoroughly!
