#3 Coupons draw you to pre-packaged and processed food

You definitely saw this too. A lot of the offers are for products that are generally thought of as convenient! Be it that they’re for processed foods or frozen ones, or that they’re so much more convenient because they’re pre-packaged, pre-shredded, or pre-peeled, there are more coupons for these types of products than there are for items that aren’t as expensive! Not to mention, sometimes they’re the direct opposite of healthy.

Keep an eye out! You aren’t going to see those amazing clipping deals for generic products such as apples or yogurt! Unless they’re about to expire, the healthy, less expensive options will never have a coupon attached to them!

#4 Coupons build brand loyalty!!

You may not feel like you are loyal to a certain brand, but trust us when we tell you that it’s a habit we all have. There are just certain products that, after trying them out, you end up liking better—whether it is due to quality and price, or just because they have a certain scent you like more.

What coupons do, however, is make sure you get used to certain brands, often more expensive ones, so you forget that there are other alternatives that you could get that could be of the same (or better) quality and maybe cheaper. Who knows? Maybe there is some other product you will like better. Brand loyalty does save you some time when shopping as you know exactly what you need, but that’s generally where the good points stop.
