In late 2024, private equity giant Blackstone struck a deal to acquire Jersey Mike’s in an agreement valuing the company at roughly eight billion dollars. As private equity models generally demand aggressive margin expansion, consumers should not expect menu prices to moderate. While the quality exceeds that of standard fast food, the ticket size rivals sit-down steakhouse lunch specials.
