2. You live in a small house
This one is for the city dwellers that are reading this. If you live in a tiny studio apartment and you buy from Costco, where do you plan to store all of those family-sized toilet paper rolls?
When you decide to buy items in bulk, you need to consider that you need space to store them. Sometimes a lot of space. Most times, your small pantry will not be enough. If your home doesn’t have enough storage space, you should skip buying in bulk.
And even if you don’t buy the perishable items that must be kept in the fridge, you still need room to deposit all of the pasta boxes, paper towels, or those huge detergent bottles.
If you live in a small home, accept that a Costco membership is not suitable for anyone. Most probably, you don’t want to cramp up your space and make it look like a warehouse with Costco products lying all around.
