Junk food

While big packages of snacks like Doritos and M&Ms are very tempting, especially when you shop while hungry, you should reconsider. Unless those items are wrapped in individual packages, they usually end up stale before you even touch them. After all, do you really need 4,000 calories of snacks around you?

School supplies

Let’s face it: a third-grader definitely doesn’t need an entire rainbow of pen colors, nor six rolls of tape. The selection of school supplies at Costco may be small, but the packages are large, which only makes back-to-school sales a better idea.

  1. Using common sense while shopping at Costco, or any big box store, is the key. I am a single person and find shopping at Costco, morcany big box store, I can save money. A pack of toilet tissue usury last me 6 months. That means I do not have avneedvto buy it again for 6 months. Also, the cost is much less than buying at a grocery store. Fresh produce and fruit should not be purchased unless you can use it within a week.
