Things you have never tried before
Impulse buys at any regular grocery store checkout aisle are generally fun and completely inexpensive. However, if you don’t really like that new flavor of Snickers, you’ll be missing no more than a buck. However, impulse buys at Costco are different: they cost more.
You might be spending a minimum of $10, usually even more, on a 2-quart container of nuts you usually end up hating. However, if you see a certain product that you’d like to try, you should find a smaller, less expensive version of it at a grocery store, and THEN decide to upgrade it to the bulk size at Costco.

Using common sense while shopping at Costco, or any big box store, is the key. I am a single person and find shopping at Costco, morcany big box store, I can save money. A pack of toilet tissue usury last me 6 months. That means I do not have avneedvto buy it again for 6 months. Also, the cost is much less than buying at a grocery store. Fresh produce and fruit should not be purchased unless you can use it within a week.
Thank you for the tips on what NOT to purchase. It’s greatly appreciated
