For Our Charitable Hearts

You may have seen that Amazon Smile ad that pops up here and there on the site. But if you’re anything like me and you’re rushing to find the item you need before you accidentally forget it, you didn’t pay much attention to it. However, it is an amazing perk that will work in your favor and help you be more charitable.

If you go on their portal, you’re going to find all the same products you love, for the same prices. Yet, if you buy them after you accessed the portal, 0.5% of the price of any item you buy will be redirected to a charity of your choice!

Sure, it may not seem like much, but think about it in the long run: over the course of a whole year, you will have donated quite a little bit to a charity that is near and dear to your heart, without having to worry about it. Every single penny counts and like this, you can make use of your membership in a way that doesn’t just facilitate your next shopping spree. Now is Prime time!

  1. I am a senior ( age 82 ) and was inquiring about a senior rate since I am now being for a renewal. the invoice #018358089 was recently received.

  2. How about offering a discount to seniors living on fixed incomes and how about veterans? I am a veteran and I work with veterans and they’re struggling, also.

  3. These price hikes are starting to make me rethink this Prime thing. At some point, the cost starts to outweigh the benefits.

  4. I will be cancelling my Prime Membership. To costly for what I use it for. I only do it for shipping with auto subscription but that is not as good as it use to be. Prices not consistent and sometimes I see where I could have ordered an item cheaper. I don’t use music, books, streaming services, or anything else it might offer. There should be an option for a price depending on what you use.

Time to seriously sit down and do the numbers. We’ve already learned that free shipping isn’t necessarily “free”. Videos aren’t the best And 139 is a big bite Inflation? Greed.

  6. I use Amazon a lot since I am handicapped and can’t get out to shop frequently. It’s totally worth the annual fee for free and fast shipping, discounts on items I use, access to online books, and Prime Video (with great content) on my streaming service. An Amazon Fresh will be opening in my area soon and I’m looking forward to using that too.

  7. They just billed my credit card for $149.00 for Prime. I am going to have to opt out.
Why are they saying I already made that comment I did. This is the first time I have ever even got on here.
